HARNESS MOD

All of our standard process engines come with a modified OEM harness as described below.  Your harness will be simplified down to 4 wires to make it start & run and all unneeded plugs will be removed. You will get others that include "check engine light", "tach", "starter", "a/c", and more depending on options.  Includes OBDII connector for scanning / programing.  NOTE:  I do not remove unneeded wires back to the ECM.  They will be trimmed back into the harness and taped up.  The finished harness will look somewhat "factory", but will be clean, new wires will be marked, & will be installed on engine ready to drop in your project.

ECM MOD & PERFORMANCE TUNE

Your ECM will be modified using HP Tuners and left unlocked for future modifications by myself or other tuners.  VATS is removed and all unnecessary DTC's.   Timing tables are increased requiring premium 91 octane fuel.  This is where the majority of the horse-power increase comes from, about 15-25hp!  Power Enrichment settings are increased significantly picking up the low & mid range performance.  If using a 4L60 / 4L80 transmission, several performance changes will be made here as well depending on the "built" level of your transmission.  Even stock transmission are good for about a 10-15% increase in pump pressures and times to firm up shifting.  This is ALL included with your engine!!!  A stand-alone programmer will run around $400 by itself.
